           Summary: Nepomuk crashed suddenly
           Product: nepomuk
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: sebastian@trueg.de
        ReportedBy: wettererscheinung@bb-goettingen.de
                CC: handa.vish@gmail.com

Application: nepomukservicestub (0.2)
KDE Platform Version: 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5)
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.35-30-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.10

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
a) I used google translate on Chromium and inserted the arabic and persian
words (using CTRL-C / CTRL-V) into Open Office
b) approximatly 15 min ago I used the search function from dolphin to find a
file via index
c) before that I noticed that the Strigi is not working so I switched it of and
on again - in the same time reducing the memory from 500MB to 100MB
e) over the whole time I am using k3b to rip audio CDs to flac and to ogg and
playing music with amarok
f) Other programs in use (not active): Okular with a 21 page pdf; bash;
Thunderbird

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Amarok crashed several times without useful backtrace (maybe due to
installation of 'flac' or playing audio CD while it is open in k3b ... I don't
know, another guess: I accidentally changed the rights of a few burning progs
in the k3b menu from something(?) to 'cdrom')

- Custom settings of the application:

100 MB memory max
(previously 500MB)
indexing only home-directory

-- Backtrace:
Application: Nepomuk-Dienst (nepomukservicestub), signal: Segmentation fault
