Can't reproduce. I installed the template from KDevelop git repository then I
selected it in KAppTemplate and it did not crash. I created the Qt CMake Core
Application template.

1) what about any other templates? are you able to create a project from any in
KAppTemplate? If so then there is a specific problem from where you got the
QtCMake Core template. 
2) for any template which crashes, please start KAppTemplate from Konsole and
copy/paste here all the output from a crashed template creation.
