pkcon get-updates showed updates, so I'd expect it to not quit but find them.
That's why I wondered why it would quit.

How can I debug why the icon does not show up although pkcon finds updates?
I.e. how can I query that part of apper for info regarding when it did check
last time, what it found and what its current status is?
