Summary: Switching from dual screen to single screen makes
                    panel, windows inaccessible
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: multiscreen
        AssignedTo: plasma-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kdebugs@i-pi.com

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

If I set up my laptop to use two screens, all works fine. However, I cannot
change back to one screen. Booting without the second monitor gives me a
screen with no panel. If I start an application, it does not show up. I can
add plasma widgets to the screen, and the window list shows whatever
applications I start. Notifications do show up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Configure dual-screen configuration. Unplug one screen and restart.

Actual Results:
See the details above.

Expected Results:
If I only have one screen, everything should appear on it.

If I remove ~/.kde4, things work, but this is more of a nuclear option that
loses all other settings.
