Experiencing the same behaviour here under Kubuntu 11.04, KDE 4.6.2, Amarok
2.4.0, Phonon Gstreamer backend 4.5.0.  

Sporadically, some files lose the fast forward / rewind scrubber control on the
track progression bar in Amaraok.  When this happens, it is impossible to
change position with the track.  

This is not consistent - some tracks the scrubber control seems to work
normally while others never work (at least during my testing).  Some however
seem to get the scrubber back if the it was present for the previous track
though I have not been able to reliably reproduce this. I have only tried this
on MP3s so far, not sure whether this affects other file formats.  Did not
happen until I upgraded to 4.6 (via Natty).

I have tried running Amarok in debug mode but so far have not noticed anything
different between when tracks work properly and when the scrubber goes AWOL.
