That maybe just because intel removed the GEM string from their driver ID and
thus DRI isn't activated anyway.
a) does blurring work?
b) if you run "kwin --replace &" from konsole, what does it say about direct
rendering
c) does it still work if you run "KWIN_DIRECT_GL=1 kwin –replace &" instead
(enforce direct rendering)
