Would it be possible for Konsole to distinguish a pasted newline from the
keypress of the "Enter" button?

If so, Konsole could buffer (delay the submission of) all input (pasted or not)
until the user physically applies force to the Enter button. Until that, the
user may edit the multiple lines (using arrow keys as in a text editor). As a
bonus, a different keypress can be invented to insert a newline inside the text
without submitting (e.g. Ctrl+Enter, just like instant messaging).
