Summary: Kate starts typing backwards unexpectedly
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: indentation
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: sasq1@go2.pl

Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

(Kate 4.4.4 according to Gentoo Portage, but 3.4.5 according to Kate's own
"About" dialog box.)

Sometimes during typing it suddenly starts typing backwards: characters appear
on the right of the cursor and the rest of the line grows to the right;
characters are typed right-to-left (backwards).

When it happens, I can move cursor to any other place and it still types
backwards. The only way to restore normal typing is to close the file and
reopen it again.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
Happens very very often.
I haven't figured out yet precisely when does it happen and what causes it, but
it often starts when I press Enter key and Kate auto-indents wrongly, then it
switches to backward-typing. So it's probably somehow related to some bug in
the auto-indentation.

Actual Results:
Wrong autoindent (eg. too long, many tabs instead of one), and after this,
typing backwards - characters appear on the right of the cursor, in backward
order.

Expected Results:
Not switching to backward-typing (some right-to-left mode?) unexpectedly.
