The zombies were created by a deleteLater of the QProcess object.
Sadly the QProcess was created from a thread without an event loop, so the
process and it's sockets were still left.

The open sockets caused the process to life on as a zombie and eventually the
sockets ran out.

The error message was caused by me killing the process prior to (trying to)
delete it.

The fix for this bug is committed since Tuesday.
A fix for the error message will be committed later this week.

Can you please retest it?
