Summary: Forcefully terminating a single dolphin instance also
                    ends all others
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: peter.penz19@gmail.com
        ReportedBy: dominik@dominik.homeunix.org

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5)
OS: Linux

If you have several instances of dolphin open and one of them hangs (e.g. an
unreachable NFS drive), all others are blocked too. Trying to close the window
brings up the KWin dialog, telling me that the application is not responding.
After pressing "terminate" all other instances of dolphin are gone as well.

So it would be very helpful, if one could start several independent instances
of dolphin.

Maybe this is related to bug #212957

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open some instances of dolphin, point one of them to a directory causing it to
block and terminate with the KWin terminator.

Actual Results:
All dolphin windows are closed

Expected Results:
Only the offending window is closed (or even better: give a possibility to
revive the blocked instance)
