Allow the end user to select a synchronization method along with direction. Bob
only wants to download his contacts from an online SyncML server. He uses his
phone as the primary contacts database and makes all changes on that.

Allow a user to select download only, upload only, or both. Allow a user to
perform a full re-sync (either download or upload) in case a Contact or
Calendar database becomes corrupt.
