> What summary?

Press ctrl+f. Type in "Bug 145851". Press enter. The text on the right of the
found phrase is the summary of the report.

The main window has only points, not the values. Nevertheless the quick popup
"menu" should have it, and the main window should also have it.

When you launch text based alsamixer it has points and values, and this program
if I am not mistaken was written decades ago, and we are now in 2010 and I am
explaining why it is useful to have points and value on the scale.

Is this really that hard to understand, or even simply usability is rocket
science?

> I really don't understand this wish.

You don't understand, or you don't want to "understand", because it is a
difference?

I will make a mockups, just out of curiosity.
