Summary: AmaroK takes too long to start (TagLib "Invalid sample
                    rate")
           Product: amarok
           Version: 2.3.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist@kde.org
        ReportedBy: sergiosdj@gmail.com

Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

Hello,

I have found lots of bug reports about this message:

TagLib: MPEG::Header::parse() -- Invalid sample rate.

But apparently they are all related to an old error that caused AmaroK to crash
when these TagLib displayed these messages. Also, this bug has been fixed
(thank you!).

Anyway, this specific bug report is about something else that is happening to
me: AmaroK takes really long to initialize when this warning is displayed.
I've recently added some songs to my collection, and apparently they were
responsible for triggering this warning on TagLib. Since this moment, I have
to wait some minutes for AmaroK to fully start, but this wasn't happening
before.

I would like to know how to "fix" this issue, since I can't get the names of
the songs which are causing this warning. Actually, I'm not even sure this bug
report should be filed against AmaroK or TagLib, but I decided to take my
chances with you first.

Thank you in advance, and thanks for the great job with AmaroK.

Reproducible: Always
