#3. Ok now I understand. 
The absence of border is a konqueror designer choice (as you can see there is
no border on the other side either. The main konqueror view is "flat" as
opposed to the dolphin view, which is sunken.
Cannot really be fixed inside oxygen (if we put a frame on the side of the
scrollbar, it would have to go around the mainview. Right ? Otherwise where
does it stop ?)
