--- Comment #2 from Hugo Pereira Da Costa <hugo pereira free fr> 2010-04-30 16:30:21 ---
- contrast (in general): you can enhance contrast using
systemsettings->colors->options->contrast slider. Not sure it will be hight
enough for you though, but that's the best we have so far.

- buttons highlight: this wont change. This is a design choice. In general,
saying this widget should be replace by this widget from this other slide will
not be done. The oxygen widgets have been carefully crafted by Pinheiro. They
are all design choices. How to make them look better (without changing the
general idea), will be considered, though.

- Tabbar: this is a dupplicate of a super-long bug report which has been closed
by us. The bottom line: we could not find a way to make people happy. There is
an alternative style for the tabbar (try "plain" tabs option), which
differentiate active an inactive tabs more.

- plasma-air window list: this is a separate bug/wish that should be submitted
to plasma

- windeco button shape: using the up and down arrows for minimize and maximise
buttons is also a design choice (also used by some other decorations). one
could use "+" or "-" as wished but that would conflict with the other "non
default" buttons. Like, e.g. shade, unshade and unmaximize. Wont fix. These
buttons are a metaphor for minimize maximize which as far as I know is well
accepted by people.

- second border for tabbed dock-widget. This is a valid bug, and very hard to
fix, due to Qt implementation of dock-widgets. Its in the todo list to have
this better rendered. (the bottom line is that when painting a dock area, and
its frame, there is no way to know whether it is a single dock or a tabbed
dock)

- scrollbar: "only ugly" is a subjective - non-constructive statement, and I
sure can find people that find them "only pretty". Also: I do not understand
"maybe you can use some of them and oxygen
it (or maybe like in konversation/digikam)" (as far as I know scrollbars are
painted identically everywhere). Do you have screenshots ?

- input area: the wasted space for the inner shadow is only one pixel. In fact
what wastes the most space is the round corners. But this wont change. Design
choice.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I am keeping this bug open for the time being
in order to keep your concerns in mind when trying to improve.
