I think the report was informative enough. It is no point to attach a
screenshot to every report.

Still it is useful to know what the volume is -- not "somewhere in the scale".
Besides, assuming Kmix uses reusable UI components, it is a matter of using the
same volume control in applet (single) as in the main window (there, you have
several of those).
