I checked bug 18551 and i don't think its related as kwin seems to work fine
It doesn't crash if you are checking the properties dialog on a folder 
but only when you check a file inside a folder it immediately crashes  
and yes it leads to a signal11 segmentation fault

Strigi version is 0.7.0-1

Thanks for the update! Note that I meant bug 185551, not bug 18551, but this
bug should be fixed in Strigi 0.7.0.

Does opening the properties dialog lead to a crash for any file type? If it
only crashes for a particular file, it would help if you could attach that file
here.

It might also help if you could install some Strigi debugging information to
get a better backtrace, see

I dont know the name of the package that needs to be installed on Fedora, it
might be strigi-debuginfo or something like that.
