There should be a way to manually invoke the configured Trash cleanup. Ideas: 1. Expose a DBus method that manually triggers the configured Trash cleanup policy. A power user could call this method from a nightly cronjob. 2. Add a context menu option to "Clean Up Trash", which would be in addition to the existing "Empty Trash". 3.
