Summary: Left dolphin sidebar resizes in split window mode and
                    doesn't resize back afterwards
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: peter.penz@gmx.at
        ReportedBy: kdebugs.99.urgwurz@spamgourmet.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.98)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have noticed a "not so nice" (i.e. horrible) effect in dolphin in my
installed Kubuntu Karmic Daily snapshot of today which uses KDE 4.3 RC3:

When I split the dolphin window the left sidebar now resizes and gets narrow.
IMHO that shouldn't happen, it should always keep the width the user gave it,
as it was in RC2. I suddenly end up with small icons in the sidebar I cannot
read anymore, I know why I have a wider sidebar and I want it to stay that way
in all situations, it's my "anchor".

That's one point. But now I switch back to normal window mode. And guess what?
The sidebar stays this narrow until I manually drag it to my favorite width
again. I hope this really is a bug and not the way dolphin moves to in KDE 4.3
final.
