I have the same problem in Debian Sid.
When a storage drive is mounted by plasma widget, it's mounted in /media/usb0
owned by root.
When it's mounted by dolphin or another kde app, it's mounted in /media/[name]
owned by user. Then, it can be umounted by plasma widget until the device is
unplugged.
root can umount the device without killing plasma.
Where is this bug resolved?
