I have recently experienced this bug too in Fedora 11 preview.  The
synchronization was working only until recently.  I have tried just about
everything that I can think of short of dropping the mysql DB, which I have
done previously and I would really like to avoid since I worked real hard to
get my contacts formatted properly so that they can be actually usable in my
Garmin iQue.

Syncing contacts works with no issue.
