Hi,
some applications just quit (e.g. konqueror, eog, gimp, inkscape). Amarok
starts using a lot of CPU, konsole instead uses a lot of RAM. jabref seems to
handle it quite well, only the page shows the window to be huge. The same goes
for xterm. 
At first i thought it's a feature to allow the closing of windows by reducing
their size to zero.
