I suspect the real cause is due to KMessageBox (and indirectly to KNotify, the notification event system) So you should also try other things that would case a message box to popup if you can think of them. One more thing: When you go into the notifications configuration, there is a button in the lower right called Player Settings if I remember right. If you click on that there should be a slider where you can adjust the volume? Is it set to 100%? If not, can you try again after setting it to 100% and then clicking OK on all the dialogs and such? There's a section in kdelibs/arts/knotify (notifyBySound) where the code does a couple of things extra if volume is not set to 100% which I have a hunch may be causing the bug. I believe this is a duplicate of bug 124729 based on being able to cause unpausing via a different means (trying to overwrite a file causing a dialog box to popup) but I'm not entirely sure yet. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
