Summary: Unable to connect to Meade telescope
           Product: kstars
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kstars@30doradus.org
        ReportedBy: andha@melerit.se

Version: 1.3.1 (using 4.0.5 (KDE 4.0.5), 4.0.5-5.fc9 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.14-108.fc9.x86_64

When trying to connect to a Meade LX200 classic telescope, the application
hangs when trying to connect to the telescope port. The search ruler hangs at
100%.
If I hit the close button in the upper right corner, Kstars dies with a sigsegv
error. The whole KDE window manager dies sometimes also.

Telescope control has worked fine with previous versions of Kstars (in KDE 3).

If I select Meade LX200 basic the program does connect, but it won't react to
any movement commands.
