Possible Causes: The server, while currently connected to the Internet, may not be configured to allow requests. The server, while currently connected to the Internet, may not be running the requested service (http). A network firewall (a device which restricts Internet requests), either protecting your network or the network of the server, may have intervened, preventing this request. Possible Solutions: Try again, either now or at a later time. Contact the administrator of the server for further assistance. Contact your appropriate computer support system, whether the system administrator, or technical support group for further assistance. This has been happening sense KDE 4.0.x but I did not think anything to report it then because I figured it was still underdevlopment but now that KDE 4.1 is out and the same thing is happening, I have to admit though the error screen in 4.1 is alot more verbose then it was in 4.0.x. This "unknown error" is not a uncommon thing with my desktop, it happens in not only Konqueror but with Kmail when trying to fetch mail from my POP3 account, Knode when trying to access a server to fetch or send new articles, and pretty much every other thing built for KDE 4 that uses the web. I know its not my connection because KDE 3 apps and Firefox do the same task perfectly. If I need to open separate bug reports for every application that is giving me this problem then I will be happy to do so.
