David: As I presume you know, I am a strong advocate of the ideas behind Comment \
#122.  So, my first thought about your "fix" is that it is a bad idea -- that you are \
going in the wrong direction with further dividing Konqueror and creating 4 states.

This small step should be simple to do correctly.  IIUC, there are two files:

konq-filemanagement.rc
konq-webbrowsing.rc

Wouldn't it be better to base the home selection on which one of these files was \
currently being used?
