Summary: playing back content with partially bad data is not
stable
Product: kaffeine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: hftom free fr
ReportedBy: kalium gmx de
Version: 0.8.6 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: It is an Ubuntu 8.04 x86_32 package.
OS: Other
First hint: the xine backend may be responsible for that.
Second hint: it occurs often when playing back regular DVDs (non-HD type stuff). For \
example, "I AM LEGEND", at position 26:08 (as far as I remember): playback just \
stops. Seeking beyond that point works. Kaffeine should try to skip problematic \
frames/sequences etc.
