------- Additional Comments From l.lunak kde org 2008-05-21 00:13 -------
- "KWin maintainer's personal preference" - KWin maintainer is quite happy with using \
the KDE2 decoration and as such personally couldn't care less
- "Ozone didn't become the default because it's ... better in technical aspects" - \
that's actually the reason, since Ozone additionally has only code for bug #152030 \
which also solves bug #160117, I think better technical aspects are quite clear. Of \
course, having a default decoration where it doesn't take half a year not to reach \
any reasonable conclusion anyway helps too.
- "What about we keep Oxygen as default, and users ... can use Ozone as alternative \
until Oxygen works for all people involved? " - unacceptable for the \
                default
- "abuse of maintainership powers" - it is the responsibility of the maintainer to \
handle things where no consensus can be reached, which apparently was this case; I \
don't see this as I did it because I could, but because I had to
- "Lubos' sole decision" - it was in fact a suggestion from Oxygen people and it also \
turned out to be the only solution, no matter how ridiculous

Maybe I could continue, but I have yet to find at least a single thing in comment #56 \
that is not just personal opinion or plain wrong, so I guess this is enough. And yes, \
Ozone is now the default, so much for your careful reading, it is even mentioned in \
the very first sentence of this bugreport.

And now, if you excuse me, I'll go again doing something actually useful, which \
cannot be quite said about this issue, until the practical ignorance of bug #160117 \
from the Oxygen side, just like with bug #152030, will end up with me having to do \
something about it again, and I'll get all this rubbish again. Just in case I sound \
upset, that's because I am.
