I tried it via control panel or with variation of the parameters of the mouse changing command in the terminal window. The behavior changed a little bit but the only necessary changing between left and right button doesn't appear. I tested it with PS/2 and USB mouse. Sometimes I had the impression - after switching to left hand mode - only to have two secondary buttons. In some discussion forums I found hints and workarounds but nothing solves the problem.
