Summary: system settings services incorrect status
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 0.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: simon simonzone com
        ReportedBy: tetlow_dan hotmail com

Version: 0.2 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

I selected K Menu -> System Settings -> Advanced -> System Services. The status \
column of the services list in the bottom left hand window shows services as either \
"Running" or "Not running."

It appears that this status column is not always correct. For example on my machine, \
it lists the vsftpd and avahi-daemon as not running, despite the fact that they are \
indeed running, and are shown in the list of processes displayed by using the "ps \
-ef" command.
