Summary: mouse wheel over the enlarge/shrink buttons in toolbars
should change font size
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin kde org
ReportedBy: ajuc wp pl
Version: (using KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
In many kde applications there are two buttons:
enlarge font and shrink font.
They are useful, but it would be nice, if user can hover mouse over that buttons and change font size by \
many levels by simply rotating mouse wheel.
When font size changes, windows is refreshed, and it takes some time, so it would be faster, if user can \
change font size by many levels at once. I am aware of the Ctrl+mouse wheel shortcut, but it's nice to be \
able to do this with only one hand ( please, no cheap jokes here :) ), and without using keyboard.
There can be only one button, which combines +/- font size, so people with wheel in their mouses can have \
more important thing in place of one of the two buttons.
Similar, other buttons/widgets can be "hot-spots" as well, when it makes sense.
Greetings, and sorry for my English, hope you'll understand.
