Summary: Konquer's strange navigation throughout MS Windows
                    domain shared folders
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: nesnera email cz

Version: 3.5.7 (using KDE 3.5.7, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.22.12-laptop-1mdv

1) fill Konqueror's Location as \\computerName\sharedFolderName
2) it opens login dialog where type login: msDomainName\userName and password
3) it overwrites location to smb://msDoma...erName computerName/sharedFolderName \
(this abbreviation isn't mine. May be rule 6 characters + "..." + 6 characters?) 4) \
shared folder is correctly open and is possible going through subfolders but is \
impossible return up or modify some file. It opens login again but login name \
contains "msDoma...erName". Although I change it to correct form \
msDomainName\userName I am unable to login until I change location to \
smb://msDomainName\userName computerName/sharedFolderName

computer (Samba) isn't included to MS Domain. I solved problem by make it what about \
if somebody needs to use resources from multiple MS domains. current Samba Version \
3.0.25b (unfortunately today was updated Samba packages :( )
