Summary: Open compressed images (gz, bz2)
           Product: krita
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: krita-bugs-null kde org
        ReportedBy: jm.trivial gmail com

Version: 1.6.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Opening .gz and .bz2 files (for example .xcf.bz2) might be a good idea.
I'm using this kind of file with non compressed formats (like xcf), and uncompress it \
before opening it in krita is not always feasible.
