I'm not sure if the problematic pages in the PDFs originally mentioned were encoded \
(in the PDF code) as having different orientations. Nevertheless, even if any \
problems with displaying those types of PDFs have been fixed, there is still a \
general need for the ability to manually rotate a PDF, or individual pages. Many PDFs \
are incorrectly made, and need to be rotated to be easily read.
I have had this problem several times with downloadable bus timetable pamphlets which \
were landscape documents with vertical text, so I had to tilt my head to read them. \
And many PDFs have vertical text on only some pages, or rotated images, e.g. PDFs \
made from book scans where no consideration have been taken regarding page \
orientations.
Best regards,
Torquil M. Sørensen
