What version of postgres are you using?  Its strange that your database is showing \
'WITHOUT OIDS' as the pg driver performs a 'SET DEFAULT_WITH_OIDS TO ON' on \
connection, so all tables should be created with oids, as theyre needed for correct \
operation.  Its probably why its not working for you.
