According to the Kubuntu forum the packages that you suggested that I need to install \
are no longer on the database.  That is why I am getting the msg. "There was an error \
commiting changes. Possibly there was a problem downloading some packages or the \
commit would break packages." Kubuntu is getting ready for 3.5.6 for the edgy \
version. So with out the above packages I can't give you a backtrace.
Not sure how to proceed, at this point. 
I am not sure how to proceed now. Should I uninstall 3.5.5 and reinstall 3.5.4 (as \
that version was working fine.) Or can I install 3.5.6 over top of 3.5.5.? i am \
really at a loss here as how to proceed.!!
