Thats actually what I tried (and where my intuition failed :-) ) and I never 
had the idea to drag icons from the tag *filter* tab on the photos for this 
purpose because filtering and setting of tags are two very seperate things.

So perhaps it would make things a lot better if one could drag icons from both 
tabs in order to tag multiple photo at once if this is not too much work for 
the release plan.
