This bug sounds like http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58952; but that's old.

I attached a xcf file that crashes gwenview; is not the original one (the one from \
which the above debugs are) because that file was pretty large and I couldn't upload \
it; I deleted two useless layers. Anyway, this file also crashes gwenview, and the \
way looks identical to me.
