Stupid question: do you probably have defined "single click to open files and \
folders" in the kcontrol mouse setting (which might be the default setting) and \
double clicking therefore starts everything twice ? (which still does not explain the \
minicli behaviour) Can you still reproduce with a newer (KDE-3.5.5) installation ?
