Shortly after comment #3, a farther upgrade (have no clue which apt was involved) the \
crashes dissappeared. I am now using v0.5 KDE 3.5.4. At the beginning of the KDE \
upgrade it still worked fine, but as of an upgrade 2 or 3 days ago (the last time I \
successfully used it) the crashes have returned. I am still as noobie for \
troubleshooting and finding out what the problem is, but it looks like the is a \
conflict with a file that periodically turns up, but the bug report does not show \
what the acual problem is.
