Summary: KWallet is opened even when not connecting to an
                    encrypted network
           Product: knetworkmanager
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: wstephenson kde org
        ReportedBy: orjan nada kth se

Version: 0.1 prerelease (svn-r533312) packaged for Ubuntu (using KDE KDE \
3.5.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

My laptop is sometimes connected via cable and sometimes wireless (standard scenario \
for knetworkmanager). Encryption keys for the wireless connection are stored in \
kwallet, but knetworkmanager seems to open kwallet even if I only connect to my cable \
network (or an unencrypted wireless net).

This is annoying because I get an extra password question from kwallet every time I \
log in, even if I am nowhere near any networks that need the encryption keys.

Is it possible to arrange it so that knetworkmanager only accesses kwallet when it is \
actually trying to connect to an encrypted network?
