I don't know whether I should open another report since my problem is very similar.

After installing KMix it autostarts as maximized window. For me it's wrong because I \
didn't ask for autostart at all no matter if the window is docked, maximized, \
minimized, etc. The user should decide to set the app for autostart or not. I assume \
that default behaviour for KMix should be autostart but there should be GUI settings \
to change it.
