Happens with me. I have a firewire hard drive, with HAL and automount working. \
Konqueror, kfmclient, desktop all freeze along with kopete. All i need to do is just \
kill kopete and it's all back to normal.

 I'm emerging gdb now, and will attach it to kopete's pid.
