Monochrome version of proposed colour widget

It took longer than expected using the GIMP, and Krita before that had proved
even more time-consuming. Was going to do some colour replacement but that
would take too long, and hopefully the image helps your visualisation of this
proposal just as it is.

Although I've talked about per-pixel for vertical display, working on the image
brought to forward the importance of scale. I mean, why have equal heights for
differently sized files with larger or smaller segments?

With different colours the widget may end up looking a little more chaotic, but
this would still be informative (=a good thing).
