For Events that only recur on a given day, I agree that it would be easy to 
adjust the recurrence rule. However, how would you adjust an event that 
occurs every first monday of a month. If you move that event two days later, 
it should occur on the first wed of the month in some months, and in other on 
the second wed. 
Even worse if you move it two days earlier, since then it should recur on the 
last saturday of some previous months, and sometimes on the first saturday.
