Your bug report makes no sense.

Name service is an essential component of any network. This is not up for discussion. \
This will not change.

If you don't want to maintain a central DNS server, you have other options: use \
another central database by modifying your /etc/nsswitch.conf. Or maintain all your \
/etc/hosts files in synchrony.

This is not a KDE bug. This is not even something we could influence: even if we \
changed KDE, it wouldn't change the rest of the system.
