i'd like to add that this is extremly annoying, as amarok's interface becomes \
unresponsive - the only way to stop this is either by finding whatever app is using \
sound device and closing that, or killing amarok.

given that it is the output device that is unaccessible, there is no reason to try \
another input source, so amarok should simply stop playback.
