This is not a bug in KDE, so I will close it.

If you need help getting a new version of Kopete, please check the Mandrake \
(Mandriva) support forums. You might also join the #kde channel on irc.freenode.org \
and see if someone there would be willing to help you. rpmfind.net may also prove \
useful in order to search for a newer version of Kopete that will work with your \
version of Mandrake.
