Summary: latest gwenview shows tiff but ignores tif completely
           Product: gwenview
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: aurelien.gateau free fr
        ReportedBy: tic tictric net

Version: 1.3.1. (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

in ubuntu dapper (prerelease) directories with tif files (only one "f" in the \
extension) are not displayed at all. If there are tif files in directories, they will \
not be shown at all. As if they weren't there.

tiff files on the contrary display nicely. I found that out by renaming one image. I \
don't want to rename all of them :-)

Does that have to do something with External Tools? Because the konqueror tools file \
associations show image/tiff but no image/tif.

cheers
manfred
