OK, if KDE doesn't automatically mount an usb memory stick or an iPod, why if I stop \
the KDED Media Manager service I don't get the device icon on the desktop?  Why KDE \
have a "Device Icons" tab in "Desktop Configuration/Behaviour"?  

IVMAN was uninstalled after upgrading to KDE 3.5, and automounting of removable \
devices is working ok (except by this issue).
